Analytical Study on Reinforced Concrete Columns and Composite Columns under Lateral Impact

چکیده

This study investigates the lateral impact responses of reinforced concrete (RC) and composite columns through dynamic nonlinear analysis using LS-DYNA. The simulation results were first validated against experimental performed earlier on four different cross sections. finite element show that LS-DYNA can predict well be used for further parametric analysis. overall resistance new is significantly better than RC columns. Among columns, solid concrete-filled double steel tube (S-DS) column has best with higher plateau force smaller mid-span deflection under same test conditions. It was found response process all types similar. Finally, to influence load, material other related parameters provide information materials load parameters. provides a basis design loading.
